A safe alternative to parabens, we use it as a mild preservative in our products to ensure a desirable shelf-life and product longevity.
rice bran oil
> is a well-known beauty secret in East Asia, Japan, and Korea. Squalene, found in rice bran oil, is an organic compound naturally produced by human skin. It acts as a moisturizing lubricant, which gives the skin a soft, smooth, velvety appearance. Gamma oryzanol and vitamin E in rice bran oil also reduce tissue oxidation, which slows down the aging of the skin, resulting in beautiful healthy skin texture. Rice bran oil is also used as a sunscreen agent.
rhus succedanea fruit cera
> also called Japan wax, is obtained from the berries of the sumac Rhus succedanea, which grows in Japan and China. rooibos extract contains the flavonoid aspalathin and has anti-inflammatory, protective, healing and soothing effect. Its antioxidant properties help to deflect free radicals and repair damage caused by external pollutants.
> is extracted from the seeds of a rose bush that grows wild in the southern Andes. It is unique among vegetable oils in containing retinol (vitamin A), and is also high in vitamin C. sugar cane extract

sugar maple extract
> works as a natural alpha hydroxyl acid (AHA) that sloughs off dead skin and purges impurities. It works to improve the skin’s appearance and minimize and repair cell damage caused by free radicals.
sunflower seed oil (helianthus annuus)
> is rich in vitamins E, nutrients and anti-oxidants, and is effective in resolving inflammation, general redness, and skin irritations, whilst protecting the skin cells from harmful UV rays and environmental stressors. Also containing vitamins A, C and D, plus fatty acids that act an anti-oxidants, it helps to regenerate skin cells. It has emollient properties that help the skin retain moisture, keeping it hydrated for longer.
sweet almond oil (prunis amygdalus dulcis)
